In this first installment of OT Concepts, the focus will be on a very important word: Sin. Due to the NT narrative, the true understanding found in the original OT has been hidden from us. Is it just one concept and has the OT been and consistently translated to provide us full understanding on what sin is? How many different words in the OT are translated as sin? And what is the point of asking these questions in the first place?
